Experience
I taught Advanced Level Mathematics in Tanzania with the Peace Corps. I taught Probability and Game Theory through Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. I have 7 years of one-on-one tutoring experience. I scored 2150 on the SAT when I took it and got a 770 in the mathematics section. I also scored a 770 on the Mathematics II SAT Subject test. I've been involved in education since I was 16 where I tutored my peers after school for free in my high school's library. I spent the past year in Tanzania integrating into the culture and teaching mathematics in a rural village. If I can raise the scores of students who only speak Swahili then I can raise yours too!

Hobbies
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and upon finishing high school moved to New Orleans. Living in the South was a great experience and New Orleans is the most unique American city I've ever visited. When I graduated from Tulane I immediately embarked with the Peace Corps to teach Mathematics in Tanzania. I loved every minute I spent in that incredible country and I hope to one day return to the village in which I lived. I enjoy being outdoors--swimming, biking, hiking, you name it! I have a passion for traveling and I hope to be able to do more in the years to come. I love music, both playing and listening. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Swahili and I would be more than happy to share my knowledge of any of them with you!
