I am a tutor who has experience working with students of all ages. I'm available to work with students in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physiology, psychology, Hebrew, Russian, and a multitude of other subjects. I received two degrees from the University of California Santa Barbara, one in Biological Science and one in Psychology. I've been working with students for over two years now. I have tutored college students in various science courses and worked with students to prepare for exams. I'm experienced tutoring students of all ages, from elementary school through college level. As a tutor I truly enjoy helping students overcome their fear of an intimidating subject. I'm able to break down complex concepts and principles and present them in simplified ways so that students can get a better grasp on what they are learning. I understand that every student has their own way of learning. Some prefer things explained through concepts, others need to see examples of something right in front of them. My job as a tutor is to figure out which way my students learn and then create an effective teaching strategy for each student. When I'm not tutoring I like to practice martial arts and read books about history and Europe.
