Experience
While at CSLA, I tutored in the university's writing center. Since then I have tutored in the English Dept. At Santa Monica College. For the last three years, I have offered tutoring in conversational American English one-on-one with speakers of other languages, including Czech, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese. Chinese (Mandarin), and Taiwanese. Clients increase their vocabulary as well as their English speaking confidence after a few sessions of speaking English with me about any topic of their choice.

Hobbies
I thoroughly enjoy helping speakers of other languages with their American English skills. They go on to get better jobs or promotions, feel more comfortable in social situations with Americans, and begin to take an active interest in improving their English my personal passing is for classical orchestral music, which I pursue with concert tickets and also take a stab at learning piano. I am also very interested in making immigrants feel comfortable in the US, particularly through their English skills and their pursuit of citizenship.
