I received my bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern studies with a minor in math from Cornell University. After graduation, I traveled throughout the Middle East, performing research and teaching students English. I was employed in Qatar by the Weill Medical School as a teaching assistant in the English department. I am now pursuing a graduate degree in policy analysis from the Frederick S. Pardee RAND Graduate School.I tutor many different courses, including elementary math, middle school math, algebra, pre-calculus, all levels of calculus, differential equations, competition math, multivariable calculus, arithmetic, finite mathematics, geometry, and statistics. I am also able to help students in all levels of Spanish, reading, writing, essay writing and editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, public speaking, psychology, geography, Arabic, technology and computer science, and associated AP and IB courses.In addition to tutoring specific courses, I am also able to assist students who are studying for exams such as the ACT, PSAT, GRE, SAT, ASPIRE, or STAAR. I can also work with students to improve their general study and organizational skills, in order to improve overall academic performance.
